It’s nestled among the Redwoods in the woods of California. 2,700 acres of pristine land broken down into dozens of camps

And for two weeks every July since the 1880s, they have been filled with some of the most wealthy and powerful men in the world.

Many of them arrive on their corporate jets at the nearby Sonoma County Airport. Others arrive in fancy cars which fill the on-site parking lot. At its height, there is said to have been more than 2,000 men who attended and, as you can imagine, they are well protected by a trove of police. Access is by invitation only, and most pay more than $15,000 to attend.

For more than 35 years, protestors have stood at the entrance gates.

“Our concern is not what’s going on inside the Grove, but what’s happening outside the Grove with the people that are in here,” Brian Romanoff, a picketer, tells The History Channel.

According to several reports, this is where for the idea for the Manhattan Project was conceived back in 1942. It’s also where every Republican president since the 60s has spent time before actually becoming the nominee.

“We know for sure that Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan sat down and had conversation about who was going to run for president when and they made a deal,” said Sonoma State University sociology professor Peter Phillips.

Phillips wrote his dissertation on the Bohemian Club in 1994 and was invited to attend for four days. He witnessed first-hand the opening event — the Cremation of Care, where the power elite leave their cares behind in a symbolic ceremony beneath Mollock the Owl.

Jed Jenkel said he was a paid employee of the Grove and drove the horse and buddy that carried a casket during the ceremony.

“The casket represented their cares and they would actually burn it along the lake with music,” said Jenkel.

Mary Moore, co-founder of Bohemian Grove Action Network, unearths a photograph from the summer of 2007, when a talk was given called “Afghanistan, the unexpected upside.” Seven months later, President Obama called for 20,000 new troops to be sent overseas.

There are other connection to be made as well, between the lakeside talks and public policies that follow.

There are rumors of extreme drunkenness, prostitutes and homosexual activities by members. But for the most part, it is the secret back room agreements critics say should be brought to light.

For Mary Moore, who has been researching Bohemian Grove for more than three decades, what happens inside here is symptomatic of a much larger problem.

“We’re all told that we elect representatives…they go to Washington, we have total influence of them and they make decisions that are in the best interests of us,” says Moore.

“Then we start growing up and if we pay any kind of attention we find out that none of this is true.”

Despite the protests, the rich and powerful elite continue to make their way to the woods of California for the annual retreat. And who has found their way to Bohemian Grove this year? Radio host Alex Jones infiltrated the camp-out in the past and says that his insiders are revealing a who’s who in America.

“You’ve got more and more of the leadership of Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Apple . . . at the Grove, and more and more of the establishments counting on their technocracies,” says Jones.

This year, he said, in addition to corporate big-wigs and political powerhouses, names like Tom Cruise and Mark McGuire sign their name to the guest book. With 1,000 plus people from all walks of the rich coming to Sonoma County, however, you won’t see the media reporting on it.

“These are the power brokers,” says Jones. “And they want to be left alone.”

At the gate of the Bohemian Grove on Saturday, July 16, we met a certain fellow, by  the name of Mark Walter Evans. As we were talking, it developed that he was the author of the original article – back in 1993 – that drew an analogy between the Owl of Bohemia, and the  archaic worship of the Canaanite idol Moloch, in the Levant. When we asked Mark if he was willing to be interviewed, he said “Yes!” and jumped at the opportunity to express his dissatisfaction with the direction that the ideological thread he started has taken.

Mark Walter Evans’ article entitled “Bigwigs Perpetuate Canaanite Cult“, drew a parallel between the two all the way back in 1993.

“Moloch” has become synonymous with the Bohemian Grove and too many ‘activists’ on the internet community. For 2,300 people on the planet, namely the members of the Bohemian Grove, the 40 foot-ish foot owl is simply known as the “Shrine” or the “Owl of Bohemia.”

Here for your study, before his startling revelations to The Bohemian Grove Blog are released on video, is an excerpt from his 1993 article:

But perhaps the most jarring contrast of all, is the contradiction between the pious hand-over-heart singing of the Star Spangled Banner (ritual for public consumption), that occurs at Party conventions, and the secret ritual that is the real “turn on” for the ruling class habitues of the Grove. For, when the rich and powerful “gather at the river,” it is not to pray, and sign psalms and hymns.

However, let it not be said that these men have no religion.

Every July, the Summer encampment at Bohemian Grove is opened with a remarkable commencement ceremony. I quote from a January 1981 article by William Domhoff * in The Progressive:

“…A ceremony called the Cremation of Care, which takes place at the base of a forty-foot [Ferro-cement] Owl… made more resplendent by the mottled forest mosses that cover much of it.

“The ceremony… involves the burning of an effigy named Dull Care, who symbolizes the burdens and responsibilities these harried Bohemians now wish to shed temporarily. More than 100 Bohemians take part in the ceremony as priests, acolytes, torch-bearers, brazier bearers, boatmen, and woodland voices, but despite many flowery speeches, they can’t get the fire started… the perplexed Bohemians must turn to the mighty Owl for advice:

“O thou, great symbol of all mortal wisdom, Owl of Bohemia, we do beseech thee, grant us thy counsel,” intones the high priest.

“An aura of light creates a glow around the Owl’s head, and then the big bird reveals its wisdom. The High Priest must light the pyre with the flame from the
Lamp of Fellowship, located conveniently enough on the “Altar of Bohemia” at the base of the Shrine…”

I will add, that the “priests, acolytes, and torch bearers” who participate in this ceremony are clad in Red and Orange hooded robes that bear a strong resemblance to the hooded regalia of the Ku Klux Klan.

Jack Anderson, writing in the Sunday supplement, Parade Magazine, on February 22, 1981, disarmingly stated

“…the participants in this strange ceremony were not part of a secret conspiracy or far-out cult that had infiltrated the nation’s power structure.  They were simply enjoying a midsummer frolic at the world’s most exclusive summer camp…”

Should the Cremation of Care ceremony so quickly be dismissed, without prejudice, given the occultic nature of the ceremony, and its historical antecedents?

The Cremation of Care ceremony bears too strong a resemblance to the ancient Canaanite worship of the idol, Molech, to be so readily dismissed.   The “Owl of Bohemia,” like the ancient Ammonite idol, Molech, is a towering, larger-than-life edifice.

The bronze Molech was hollow inside, whereas the Owl is solid, and the altar stands before it. Molech worship consisted of the ritualized sacrifice of the first-born infant son of every Ammonite newlywed family. Building a fire in the belly of the beast, getting it good and stoked, so that the flames poured out ofthe mouth, the high priest mounted a scaffold and tossed the first born male child into an aperture in Molech’s chest, to the incantation of drums and the droned liturgy of the priests of Molech.

Technically, Owl worship, as it is practiced at the Grove is somewhat different from Molech worship. Peter Weiss, writing in Spy Magazine in November 1989,
states,

“Bohemian Club literature … pious on this score … boasts that the Cremationof Care ceremony derives from Druid rites, medieval Christian liturgy, the Book of Common Prayer, Shakespearean drama, and nineteenth century American lodge rites.”

Does the Bohos’ sugar-coating of the ritual of the Cremation of Care, for whatseems to be purposes of Public Relations, obscure a darker,  psychological aspect of the rite?  Are we faced with the continuity of a tradition of Sacrificial Rite, even on a symbolic level? This is significant in, and of itself. Moreover, persistent rumors and reports from various sources, tell of bizarre rituals, child snuff films, (films in which a child is murdered) and other horrors taking place within the confines of The Grove.

I am happy people are at the Bohemian Grove to protest. But not all of them.

I have pissed some folks off lately (read the thread). For good reason: I have offended their friends and been blunt with my analysis as much as possible.

Why?

Because I, and all the other people who have dug in for years on this (as opposed to simply reported on), don’t want to see the Bohemian Grove protests be about “child sacrifice” in 10 more years.

As many have now learned, I work on 9/11 primarily. What have I learned about 9/11 in 10 years? I have learned that if in 10 more years people are entertaining discussions of “hologram planes” or “space beams” and “UFO’s” we are doomed. Focus on the real evidence; present your case; sway the opinion to the most truthful detail.

Many people don’t know the history of the Bohemian Grove. In this day and age, it is important to have information at a quick pace , especially for the youth: And it is the youth that is the future. That’s why I do what I do; I want to have children in a healthier, saner and truthful world. Many of the people who are directly responsible for atrocities on this planet gather every year at the Bohemian Grove.

A rich history exists at the Bohemian Grove. Have you seen these pictures from the late 1800′s to 1924? Do you know about the 1000+ people who lined the streets in the 1980′s to block the roadways with yarn weaved as spider-webbing? Do you know about the comic book that exposed the cremation of care in 1985 and was censored slightly due to it’s content?  Who was the first person to write about the Grove critically? How about reading Sonoma St. professor, Peter Phillips dissertation on the Grove? What is the membership history? Was there ever a break in the Grove retreat, when and why?

With 100+ year history, the Bohemian Grove has a lot to offer. Yet many people just don’t know. In only the last 10 years, and much due to Alex Jones religious interpretation of a theatre performance, we have seen the whole history die into a statement of, “child sacrifice” or such.

And if in 10 more years, protesters at the Bohemian Grove are still entertaining discussions of child sacrifice and Satan worship by 2000 members; they’re doomed.

I wont be a part of it. I would rather you all hate me or think I’m a government agent, or “troll” than me NOT SPEAK TRUTH.

So many of you came into what you are doing now because you felt that the establishment was not honest enough – and it is not.

So please, as you all continue the struggle, remember to check yourself, the research, data and whatever else you are promoting as truth.

MegaNewsReader has posted a video from the early protests at the Bohemian Grove. I have much to say about a lot of the video, but I will condense my criticism to what must be addressed first.

This is a matter of setting the record straight. MegaNewsReader may feel attacked by this and other posts, but until they correct false statements texted into their video they will be scrutinized.

I had to think for a few minutes if I would actually post the video in question because so much of it is Doug Millar rambling about pure nonsense. However, if posting the video will bring attention to correcting the video, than I am choosing to post it. Fortunately I am only addressing the first 2 minutes of the video. “Bob”, the face of Bohemian Grove security comes out to say “hi,” to the people at the protest. After light discussion, Bob quickly asks if the people at the filmed protest “know the one guy that comes out every  year…. I talk to him quite a bit, he always gives me one of these things you put in the computer (DVD’s) to show..about 9/11…”. An unnamed person from the protest groups blurts “Alex Jones”. Bob said, “yes.”

I should be fair to MegaNewsReader for that point, that Bob did indeed agree it was Alex Jones when “Alex Jones” was mentioned. However, with a moment of research and common sense this can be proven false.  Besides, everyone has had a conversation where they mistakenly say yes or no to something you should have said no or yes to, mis-speaking happens all the time. On to the evidence though.

Besides once in the year 2o00, and once last year during the off-season of the Grove filming for the Discovery Channel, Alex has not been to the Bohemian Grove; let alone consecutive years handing out 9/11 DVD’s to Bob and others! In fact  Alex Jones has never claimed or asserted in any degree that he has been to the Bohemian Grove over a number of years, let alone a number of days. Is there any evidence of anyone being there over a number of years handing out 9/11 information? Actually yes, and it is all here on this blog. Allow me to overview quickly and set this straight:

editing this video I found her voice difficult for the viewers to hear and
inserted a subtitle/quote at the time signature in question.
I found it
strange that the girl was so far off base with her response.
Anyone who
really listens to AJ would be the first to tell that you he is not known for
attending the front gate protests annually.
With respect to the Bohemian
Grove we all know Alex is a “Backdoor Man”
I know of 2 visits. Both well
documented.
But coming every year to the front gate and handing out 911 info?
No.
I have to mention that several of the Americans voicing their opposition
to the Bohemian Grove found the same girl in question to be a

There were yelling matches and tears. I left that

because I thought that was the correct answer, I did it because thats what the
girl said. People are smarter than we like to give them credit for, and I like
to let my viewers see the moment as it unfolds and form their own
conclusions.

Still I am a peacemaker at heart, and wish only harmony for
all of you.

Why did the girl say “Alex Jones”?
she wanted to fit in.
Thats my honest opinion.
Many credible people called her out that
day.

Back to my original point.
A viewer wanted me to point out to all
of you that he was the man that “Bob” was asking about, not Alex Jones. The man
“Bob” was looking for was Brian Romanoff at norcaltruth.

UPDATE 2# (7/15/11): I have changed the title of this post. The title used to also have the sentence, “Anonymous Video Likely a Fake.” Not so. The Anonymous video was produced by well-intentioned persons in the US, who would like more attention on the Bohemian Grove. That probably seems pretty apparent to many of you though, but to Mary Moore and myself, it was suspicious in timing and presentation.

In the firestorm of finding out who is who in a production by “anonymous”, I probably offended some people namely those who uploaded the video at 2nd Revolt. (Developing website here) As of now, we have discussed our differences and commonalities. By far, we are more common than different. I would like to highlight the fact that nothing happens until you start doing something. In that spirit, both 2nd Revolt and MegaNewsReader deserve praise for their energies. Without 2nd revolt, there would be less attention on the Grove this year. The anonymous theme did catch people’s eyes. Also MegaNewsReader deserves credit for having a camera and using it. Without MegaNewsReader, there would not have been an early update on the Grove protest. Thanks to you all.

UPDATE 1#: I have been replied to by the YouTube user who posted the ‘Anonymous’ video: The response in full:

“We are the original host of the Anon video, yes. We’re not getting into who made it or any of that because that’s outside the idea of Anonymous. Anonymous made the video. That’s how Anonymous works. No one needs ‘permission.’ There is no one to get permission from. Do we have support by Anon groups, yes. We are Anonymous. You are Anonymous. Everyone posting is Anonymous.” We had a plan, and part of that plan was to show up early, not on the day. Before and during.

My reply: Well, for those of you who have noticed, I am not anonymous. I am Brian Romanoff, a free thinking individual who needs not hide behind a mask. Though, I would want to stay ”anonymous” too if I told everyone the wrong dates of a party. This also does not alleviate my suspicion that Anthony Hilder made the video. The real anonymous group is a “hacktivisim” group, nothing like what we have seen at the Bohemian Grove. This is far outside the M.O. of the real and known group, ‘anonymous.”

Please excuse the abrupt and short nature of this post, as I have no time for this right now.

A video claiming to be made by Anonymous and calling for an action at the Bohemian Grove was posted to YouTube a couple of weeks ago. It generated tens-of-thousands of views, eventually landing on the site InfoWars to help its view count even more. The video was a joke to anyone who spends even just 5 minutes looking into a bit of research on the Bohemian Grove.   See update #2.

The video asked for people to start going to the Bohemian Grove on Wed. July 13th. No matter that the Grove really does not even begin until Fri. the 15th. Workers can be found at the Bohemian Grove all year around, so it will be no surprise to see them on the 13th. Noticeably absent: Bohemian Grove Members.

So, yesterday on the 13th, as the video had called for, people showed up…at 7:00 in the morning! Why? I don’t know.

The Grove is silent most of the day during an encampment, let alone at 7:00 in the morning: Forget the fact that it hasn’t even begun yet. Wow, are these followers of a church or something? They are following blindly.

A video from the too early of a protest shows people who are generally lost as to what is going on in front of them; nothing. What can be heard in the video should stick out to anyone who likes to build bridges and inform the USA of 9/11 Truth. The head of security, Bob, can be heard asking about, “the guy who is out here every year, with his 9/11 material. He is a nice guy.” That would be me. Also heard and witnessed is the 2 front gate staff, who come up to ask for a “pamphlet.” The protestors in the video are confused by this because they have not researched anything. Had they done some research, they would know that for years I have been out in front of the Grove handing out information by the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Those are the pamphlets they want folks, not your fantasy novel BS.

What is the fantasy novel BS? Alex Jones started it really. Moloch, child sacrifice, Satan worship and other ridiculous assertions without proof is the fantasy novel BS. Doug Millar of Sonoma Co. has latched on to this like a fly on shit. Worse, a “film” maker named Anthony Hilder, who will ruin any movement, has been taunting Doug Millar and other locals to do this protest.

This brings us to a few points. Where  did the anonymous video come from? It came from this YouTube user. The regular Anonymous Twitter feeds are silent about the “Operation: Bohemian Grove”, leaving the video and it’s uploader alone to say it is legitimate. Was the video produced and made by the group named Anonymous, or was it a un-anonymous person who adopted the name and used it like their own? Furthermore, the flyers that were passed around by Doug Millar likely used some groups names on it with out their permission, a major no-no, that I will follow-up on later. Anthony and Doug have even brought bad Press before the gates have been opened at the Grove, this should help prove my point!

And look at all the good major media press that Mary Moore was able to bring together around the Grove over 30 years.

What happens in the Grove is irrelevant. (And if you think there are sacrifices, YOU ARE WRONG) What matters is the policy that many Grove members are putting into play outside of the Grove.

It is because of all of this that I won’t be going to the Bohemian Grove this year. I don’t want a stain on my energy. I wish others were more critical of who they associate with, maybe they will learn the hard way; maybe some wont learn at all.

San Francisco Giants’ boss Bill Neukom and Vaughn Walker, the retired federal judge who threw out Proposition 8, will be among the featured speakers at the Bohemian Grove encampment of rich and powerful men beginning Friday in Monte Rio.

“Weaving Spiders Come Not Here” is the motto of San Francisco’s Bohemian  Club. The motto is supposed to represent the club’s edict against doing business  during its annual Bohemian Grove retreat, which commences Thursday on 2,700  acres 75 miles north of the city. As club spokesman and member Sam Singer  explained, “It’s a group of gentlemen who are really genuinely interested in  arts, theater, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll.” The retreat gives members a chance to  “get away from work. It’s forbidden to talk about or solicit business at the  club or grove.”

The “weaving spiders” motto also provides cover for a club that discriminates  against women.

Thus, in the Bay Area, good liberals and civil libertarians who would not  dream of joining a club that refuses to admit blacks or Jews, raise their  glasses in a club that discriminates against women.

House Minority Leader Nancy  Pelosi’s husband, Paul, is a member.

Vaughn Walker, the former federal judge who overturned California’s same-sex  marriage law, is a member. MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews is a member.

Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart is a member. Ditto band member Bob Weir.

There are more big names on the right, starting with former President George  H.W. Bush, former Gov. Pete Wilson and former Secretary of State Henry  Kissinger.

Business titans have long bankrolled the retreats. A roster of 2010 members  released by norcaltruth.org – the club does not release its membership list -  includes a couple of Rockefellers and the ubiquitous Koch brothers. Hence  conspiracy theories about sinister deals cut amid the redwoods.

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt is a member. William R. Hearst III,  trustee of the Hearst Corp., which writes my paycheck, is a member. I have  friends who are members.

John McCain has addressed the group. Ditto Francis Ford Coppola.

Like good Democrats, Presidents Obama and Bill Clinton have  avoided Bohemia.

“When I first started and they acquired my services, it was to help handle  protests at the grove and the City Club,” Singer noted. “Over the years, it’s  gone from a thousand people to literally one person.”

That one person is Brian Romanoff of norcaltruth.org, and he told me he  doesn’t go there to “protest” so much as to “reach out and inform the members”  as to why they should make retreat policy seminars – on Afghanistan or nuclear  power – public.

He thinks some members are “probably guilty” of war crimes. He doesn’t reach  out to them. “I don’t really want to get to know Henry Kissinger.”

Sonoma State sociology Professor Peter Phillips attended the retreat in 1994.  The club was the subject of his doctoral dissertation. He told me that he met a  lot of “ordinary rich guys” and “some very important people.” Some men kept  coming back to the same camps every year to discuss intimate issues – their  prostates, wives – in an atmosphere analogous to a men’s group.

Phillips also saw and heard a lot of networking. “They’re very clearly  talking politics and business constantly.”

No weaving spiders? “I proved the opposite, quite clearly. I heard  conversations about business. ‘If GE comes in on the deal, we can get the  Japanese to join’ – three men walking down a trail together.”
